Our History
Tim and Jere Meade
Meade Zolman Family Dentistry has been a part of the Allendale community since 1987. But the history of the office actually goes back much further.
Originally located on the corner of Brown St. and Lake Michigan Drive, the first dentist office in Allendale was opened by Dr. Kenneth Baker in 1955. Dr. Baker worked in that office for 29 years. Upon retiring, the office space was leased by Dr. Tim Patrick in 1984. Dr. Patrick ran it as a satellite office for his main office in Standale until 1987, when Drs Tim and Jere Meade purchased the building.
Dr. Tim and Dr. Jere continued to practice in that location until 2001. During that time the practice grew as Allendale continued to grow. Originally operating as Allendale Family Dentistry, then as Meade Family Dentistry. In 2001 the office moved to its current location in the Allendale Professional Park on Commerce Dr.
Since 2001 the practice has continued to grow, in 2004 Dr. Ryan Zolman joined the practice, becoming a partner 4 years later, the office became Meade Zolman Family Dentistry. In 2015 Dr. Stephen Meade, Tim and Jere’s son, joined the practice.
In 2018 Dr. Tim retired after 31 years of practice in Allendale and Dr. Jere retired in 2023 after 36 years in Allendale.

Our Doctors
Doctors Ryan P. Zolman, Stephen C. Meade, and Nicholae Meyer continue to stay up to date on any changes occurring in the world of dentistry, in order to provide the highest quality of treatment possible. We understand that dental work can make some patients anxious and on edge, which is why we work to provide a relaxed atmosphere and answer any questions our patients may have.
Ryan P. Zolman, D.D.S.
I was born and raised in West Michigan (Norton Shores). I graduated from Michigan State University before studying dentistry at The University of Michigan. Following graduation, I was commissioned in the US Army as a dentist. While in the Army, I was fortunate enough to receive advanced dental training at Fort Benning, Georgia before being assigned to Fort Bliss, Texas. I returned to West Michigan with my wife and three children at the conclusion of my Army tour in 2004.
Stephen C. Meade, D.D.S.
I am a West Michigan native, growing up in Hudsonville. I am a graduate of Grand Valley State University and the University of Michigan for dental school. Once I graduated, I completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry through East Carolina University, while living in Elizabeth City, North Carolina. I have been back in West Michigan since 2015 with my wife, son and 2 daughters.
Nicholae Meyer D.M.D.
I was born and raised in the Chicagoland area, and earned my Bachelor of Science degree in chemistry from the University of Illinois. After college, I worked as a dental assistant in Chicago while studying for my Master's in Biotechnology at Rush University. In 2019, I obtained my Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Illinois Chicago, where I served in leadership roles as a teaching assistant, Academy of General Dentistry representative, and Vice President of my class.
In my free time, I enjoy trying new restaurants and coffee shops with my husband and baby boy. You can also find me at a barre class or out on a tennis court.
